The Interview
For my A-Level Coursework I was tasked with creating a fictional script. Initially I made a script about an actor who didn’t know he was an actor and believed his role was reality. I was never convinced with the original idea and as a result after many months of working on that script I scrapped the idea and started anew. After watching several short films to inspire me, I came up with the idea of making a documentary which was fictional. I took much inspiration from existing murder documentaries and scenarios, this then shaped the story of Penelope Young.
